Billy Crockett is a performing songwriter, music producer, recording artist, and the creative director of Blue Rock Studio Wimberley, Texas. He has recorded eleven solo albums and toured internationally. His songs have been acclaimed by Maverick Magazine — “with repeat listening, they assume the mantle of old friends…ones you yearn to visit with often.” Billy is a multi-instrumentalist and has produced albums for Cliff Eberhardt, Grace Pettis, Beth Wood, Rj Cowdery, Darryl Purpose, and others. He has been featured on the BMI songwriter panel at SXSW, the TV series Troubadour Texas, the Academy of Gospel Music Arts, and as guitar clinician for Yamaha. He has recorded and toured across three decades. This show celebrates the release of his 12th solo album, RABBIT HOLE, on Blue Rock Artists with his home town crowd at The Cactus Cafe.

The Cactus Cafe is a live music venue and bar in the historic Texas Union on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin. Located in Austin, Texas, a city frequently referred to as “the live music capital of the world,” a number of well-known artists have played in the Cactus, and Billboard Magazine named it as one of fifteen “solidly respected, savvy clubs” in the United States, “from which careers can be cut, that work with proven names and new faces.”
